Bellwether League, Inc.Want a glimpse of who will lead healthcare supply chain’s future?

SCHAUMBURG, IL (September 23, 2019) – To succeed in the future, executives and professionals in the healthcare supply chain must challenge the status quo in cost structure, process management and consumer-driven transformation, all of which demand and require a change in attitude, strategy and thinking.

Who’s up for that challenge? Pros in your organization known as “intrapreneurs.”

At the 7th Annual Healthcare Supply Chain Leadership Summit next Monday, September 30, Bellwether League Inc., the Hall of Fame for Healthcare Supply Chain Leadership, aims to explain and explore that attitude, strategy and thinking by igniting intellectual passion and sparking mindsets.

Bellwether League is scheduled to host panel discussions at its annual educational event titled “Intrapreneurship & Establishing a Bellwether Environment” with two groups of experts facing each other – one comprising Bellwethers, the other Future Famers.

Co-moderated by Bellwether League Board Secretary Nate Mickish (Future Famers Class of 2015), Vice President, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Texas Health Resources, and Bellwether League Board Member Ed Hisscock, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, Trinity Health, the dual panels feature three supply chain executives each.

Scheduled and invited panelists include Nick Toscano (Bellwether Class of 2018), Julicon Advisors; Carl Meyer (Bellwether Class of 2019), Executive Vice President, The Wetrich Group; and Mary Starr (Bellwether Class of 2017), Vice President, Greenhealth Exchange, on one side; Jun Amora (Future Famers Class of 2019), Vice President, Enterprise Supply Chain Services, Geisinger Health; Amy Chieppa (Future Famers Class of 2018), former Executive Director of Integration, Performance and Systems, Piedmont Healthcare; and Wilgberto “Wil” Gonzalez, Project Manager, Procurement, Loyola University Medical Center.

Bellwether League’s Forum is scheduled for 3:30-5 p.m. at The Westin-O-Hare in Rosemont, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago near O’Hare International Airport. For more information or to register to attend, visit Bellwether League online at www.BellwetherLeague.org or email Rick Dana Barlow, Executive Director, at rickdanabarlow@bellwetherleague.org.
